Realise this site is predominantly US based, but I am trying to find info on the Lanz Alldog. Built in Germany in the 1950s as a tool-carrier type tractor. Trying to get one running but having a bit of trouble as it runs on both Diesel and Petrol - any ideas what you need to do to change from one to the other? at the moment I think we are trying to run on both!!

The engine had twn on it. Appears to run on diesel or gas (petrol) - that is what I am trying to find out - how to change between fuels.

other than that couldn't tell you any more at the moment (I am not near it) serial number etc illegible. Can you tell me anything more about it?

The first TWN was a gasengine, second version should have been a 2stroke Diesel. Is there a carburretor and a fuelpump on it?, Can`t believe this. Lanz had halfdiesels, which had been started with gas and then changed to Diesel by a bypass. The smaller one had a 12HP TWN, later TWN-Lanz. The 18HP was a MWM.
