Electronic rust protection. Run $150-300. A small power supply connected to your battery and cathodes connected to your vehicle. They put out a small DC pulse on your chasis every couple of seconds. Do they work?

Hi, RJT. When the first ERP's were introduced to Australia in about 1993 or so, the company who sold them fitted two of them to NEW surf club beach patrol 4 wd's. The surf clubs were pulling spray-on rust protection coated new vehicles out of the line after 6-8 months to repair rust. After 12 months, there was NO rust in the two vehicles fitted with the ERP units. ALL of these vehicles work on beach patrol 7 days a week.

These tests were monitored by the University of Queensland Technology Dept.

Do your homework. As with most other things, I'd guess there would be some that work better than others.

Hope this helps.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Cathodic corrosion protection is commonly used in water tanks. But I don't see how that principle could be applied to a vehicle, unless you submerged it in water.

It`s B...sh.t. They tested it in a german Vintage Car Magazin. The place which they set the Anodes, rusted faster, than You can look.
