Good evening. My father has just bought a 1945 Farmall. It's his first tractor and he has a lot of questions. I'll just start with question one. What attachments are available for this model? He says it's a 2 point. I have no idea what that is. I've been trying to get him to get his own computer for years. He says why should he if he's got a daughter that can use hers.

Thanks. Any help would be a big help

first a 1945 FARMALL never had two-point nor could it be attached later better do some more looking at the tractor what size are the tires front and rear when you are standing at the front how high from the ground up is the radiator cap then we can go from there as to the location of a serial number on a silver tag and where it is located.

My dad didn't think it was a 2 point but he thinks it's part of an attachment that was just left behind. More information I've received...It's called a Cultivision...
Front tires 5.00-15 Rear tires 9.5-24 The Radiator is 54 1/2 inches from the ground. Their is a 2pt. hitch lever on the right side to lift up and down but in the down position the 2 points are 31 inches from the ground.

I have no idea what any of this means. All he really wanted to know was what attachments are available. He is interested in purchasing a scraper blade and a Brush Hog (still no idea what that is).

Sounds like an A. Link is to a '45 A. Check out the tractor photos on this site until you find out what it is.

Thanks so much for the info. I'm going to check out the tractor this weekend. My father has always collected antique cars but now since he's moved to the country he's discovered tractors. Thanks again for the help.

Congratulations! Farmalls are great tractors. Now, do you have any idea what model it is? That would help. Maybe a serial # or a picture would also be helpful.
There is a Farmall board on this site with many experts just waiting to share their wisdom. Occasionally some of them take themselves a little too seriously so be prepared for that.
