Water pump?

My tractor seems to over heat. There is a squeeling sound near the generator-water pump area? How can you check the water pump? I looked in the radiator and the water didn't seem to be circulating. You should be able to see water flowing right? I put my hand on the engine head and after only running seven minutes it was to hot to touch. Doesn't seem right!

Is the squeeling from the belt slipping on a frozen water pump? Is the thermostat stuck closed? Is the belt loose and just slipping? Stick an oven thermometer in the top of the radiator and confirm what the temperature is. Then start checking. Get back to us.
