Anyone have a "used" pair of 13.6 x 38 tires ?? Or maybe even something else that will fit on 12x38" rim, if nothing else available.
I am in southern Maryland, but would drive to pickup if within a few hours, thanks.

I'm restoring a tractor that has a good matching pair of 13.6-38's about half tread. In s.w. Pa. Uniontown-zip15401. They are still on tractor & I have an e-mailable picture of them. Can remove the tires pronto, but sending the pictures will require help from my computer son! $150 for the pair. They are Firestone field&roads. Wayne.

Sorry about that, I didn't post my email address for your reponse. I hate that about this website, you can hide it from spam generators, but then no one can get in contact with you.

Wayne, please email me or get me your email address somehow. Would like to talk to you about your tires. You're within easy driving distance of me. Thanks!

I agree with "rustyfarmall" and what he said below. You'll be way ahead to bite the bullet and get new tires and tubes.

My Grandfather had a saying he always took out and used on us kids when we were trying to "shortcut" something: "Sometimes the longest way around is the shortest way home." I think that applies to trying to find used tires. Yeah, they might be out there but good ones are few and far between. Good luck.

Interesting, I see you are from southern Maryland, what part may I ask?? I am in Prince Frederick in Calvert county. If I was looking for a used set of tires, I would try Wengers in Pa. makes for a nice little day trip. Call first.

It is a pretty safe bet that you will not ever find any used tires, or tubes, in that size. Bite the bullit and start shopping for new tires,as long as you are not bent on any particular brand, sometimes you can find some really good deals.

I have been looking for a used tire for some time now. It seems that everyone else seems to run them untill the are not worth reusing.

Good luck Don

Joe-

Why do you want a used tube? That seems to me to be a bigger risk than a used tire??

Why do you want to mess around with a used tube? ME Miller has new one listed for $38.00. If you did manage to find a used one, you might save $15.00. But then you'd have an old tube that might have pinholes in it already from a rusty rim that would then fail and you'd be back to where you started, having to spend even more money to fix it . . . . but I guess some people think differently than I do.

I agree with you Tim. Some people are natural born tight-wads. They buy junk and then it fails and they spend more money. I also cannot imagine searching for a USED innertube.

Obviously things would get a bit plugged up with 1500 ads running.
