Growing up I enjoyed going to this show, especially the logging exhibitions. We raise AQHA horses, never had any of the heavy horses. My folks were part of the original committee getting this thing off the ground (Old Rodeo Club). Passing along the link along for those that might be interested or be in the area during that time.

Fall is gorgeous time of yr. in the Pacific Northwest.

I enjoyed the horse pulls at the Eastern Washington State Fair when I lived in Spokane. I visited with some of the guys who pulled and many of them used their teams pulling logs out of the timber One of them claimed to make more clear money in a day than when he used a cat to pull them out with. The Pacific is nice the year round in my opinion But I agree the fall is exceptional.

Young Belgians? They don't seem all that big in the picture. Gramps had Belgians til he was 80, then downsized to Percherons. Crossed Belgians with mules/donkeys (not sure which) and sold whatever that makes to the Amish. Anyways, liked the picture.
