I NEED A THROTAL LINKAGE (CABLE) FOR A GREEN MACHINE WEED TRIMMER. IT IS PROBABLY A 1978 OR 79 MODEL. THIS IS THE FIRST PART I HAVE EVER NEEDED. ANY HELP IN FINDING THIS PRODUCT WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Many parts from similar year REDMAX will interchnage. Our mowing business used to use green machine till they went outta business(before they got bought out) our dealer switched to redmax cause most of the parts were the same.

Green Machine was a japanese product; about any jap-produced trimmer will interchange. How old is the machine? What parts do you need? Points & condensor from Stihl FS-80 (also jap) interchange, as do blades, string heads, starter springs, etc.

actually, I'm posting for a friend who runs a backyard fix-it business. He thinks this particular Green Machine needs a coil.

Thanks For the replies!
