Did you notice the thread below about Mahindra tractors???? If you are smart you will start thinking about that brand instead!! My friends son bought a Chinese tractor. I'll stay one thing about it, he knows how to fix and "rebuild" pieces on it in his sleep now!!! Robert

there was a club at yahoo for chinese tractor owners not to many good comments mostly about poor castings and fit and parts availability etc almost any good used major brand would likely be better some guys said they saw these tractors at shows and all had major leaks of fluids these were new units to. You could do a seacrh at www.google.com for chinese tractors likely you will find lots of info.
regards

I have heard that their castings are brittle. I am a carpenter by trade and have seen the metal on some of the Chinese tools fail. Someone said that they don't have their metalurgy perfected yet. I'm inclined to belive it.....

The older ones were made by LTZ and MTZ for Belarus.

The new ones are made by Jinma in China.

I think Nortrac is the name Northern Hydraulics (Northern Tool & Equipment) puts on the Chinese Jinma tractors that they sell here in the U.S., I have never been around one so I cant comment on +'s or -'s.

If you don't know, their 20 hp fwd is on sale till the end of the month for $5295. I wanted to buy one for myself for father day, but my wife had a fit. I think they will sell many for that price.

There ya go, just thinking of yourself- Get one for her, for Mother's day! Then she'll surely be happy. . . I still remember how animated my mother was when dad got her a lawnmower for their anniversary one year.
