I am looking at a IH 444 but don't know that much about them. There has to be someone out there that has had some experience with them. I would appriciate any information I can get. I need to make a decission this week. Paul

We have a 444 IH on the farm it has been the best fertilizer and baler tractor. Plenty of power and very reliable.

Used one for years, I sold the old dog 2 years ago. The 444 was a good tractor, but my equipment was getting to big for it and the engine was in need of a overhaul. The only thing I hated about that tractor was the parking brake lever. I would get it caught in my pants legs and cook the brakes. Good luck

I own a 444 that is English (british) made. It is HE** to get parts for. Other than that, it is a nice tractor. THe U.S. made tractors are fine. Can you purchase it cheap?

May be you already know this, you can get parts for your tractor from the bellhousing back from a Mahindra Dealer.
