I just recieved a 1953 Super C Farmall Tractor from my G-ma. My husband is tickled because he though it didn't work at all then he got it to fire up. I need to know where to find restoration kits, serial numbers, and anything else he might need to restore this thing.

Thanks guys. I found the overhaul kit on here. We have a lot of work ahead of us now. I'm gonna take pics of every step. My husband doesn't really need the tractor but that isn't gonna stop him from spending every spare moment on it.

Like mentioned overhaul kits and other parts are available here on YT. These are great little tractors, my favorite as matter of fact. Parts are still available from any CaseIH dealer. Cast parts such as rearend housing or front ends and things are not available new, but can be found in salvage yards. Implements can still be found to fit them as well. I just sold a plow and mowing machine the other day. They are great gardening tractors, will pull 2 bottom plow,7 foot disk, planter, 6 foot rotary mower, two row cultivator and more. Like Keith said when you need help post over on the Farmall board, someone there can help with every aspect of these. I use two of these every day on my tobacco/cattle and hay farm. Brad Marshall can also get new parts and used ones for these. His number is 1-888-824-0544.

Serial # is located on metel tag, under the seat on tool box. If I remember correctly it will be on the right side of the toolbox.

As for restoration kits, haven't seen anything as such. This site has lots of over haul kits. And others on this site will beable to direct you to other sources of needed parts. Also go to the Farmall forum on this site, lots of valuable knowledge to be had from individuals there.

Good luck with your project.

PS.. We are restoring a Farmall SC ourselves(belongs to my son Shawn)...

Post pictures!!
