Help a sailor - I have just removed a 3 cylinder, two stroke, supercharged Hanomag engine from my boat. It's said it came from a tractor - I believe it as it still has a pedal or two attached.
Does it have any value/interest or shall I dump it. Any help or guidance much appreciated

Got a question or two: Is it an inboard engine? Believe some inboards ran backwards, and that required a different cam, is this one? Anyone can shed any light on this subject?

You can still get parts in Germany I believe.
Don't junk it! Get a chain and rope, hook them
up and you've got a great boat anchor.

Never heard of Hanomag, but Detroit diesel made a 2 stroke supercharged 3 cyl. Does it say Detroit Diesel anywhere on it? I'd love to find one of these and make it fit into my '83 Chevy S-10!!! Where you at? If you were close by, I'd take it off your hands for ya. I'm in Southern IL.

The Hanomag is a German tractor and was build from 1934 until 1969 the Hanomags of the begining
run on petrol and not on diesel. This tractor was verry famous in the Netherlands,Belgium,Germany and Luxemburg.
