Does anyone know if distributor caps, points, rotor, condensor and spark plug wires are available new from any source. I have a 1948 with the screw on type plug wire end at the cap end of the wire. Thanks

Major Al, USAF

Check "Leesburg Tractor Parts" also.
1-800-426-6960 in Leesburg Indiana.
I've purchased several parts from there
for my TO30. Asked if they are used or new.

My '49 model TE20 has the Delco distributor from the TO20, installed by a previous owner; it also has negative ground. Ignition tuneup parts are available from NAPA at very reasonable cost, compared to the Lucas kit from a MF dealer. If you install the Delco and stay with the original positive ground, you might need to reverse the polarity of the condensor, but the points don't care which direction the electrons are jumping.
Good luck!
