F706 gas, when not under load, will intermittently coast, then jump back into pull, with a loud bang. TA doesn't function, but brakes and power steering OK. Range and speed shifting detents OK. Guy who owned it before me put in new clutch. Tractor works fine under load, such as plowing, but when plow is raised, and I am under no load I have the problem. It does it on road travel, too. Is is a TA problem, and adjustment problem, or what?

Wel i am not real sure what your sayen here is this doing it with the STICK ahead or pulled back????? as for adjustments the onlyadjustment ya got is dump valve . Check your OIL lite in the gauge cluster and make sure that it is working .Now this TELTALE lite does double duty as it shows low engine oil pressure and loss of pressure in the MCV - T/A every time you push the clutch pedal down this oil lite will come on if it is not working then FIX it . Then we will know if ya are having a pressure drop off and causing the clutch to unlock in the T/A if the sprag is out then it could be kicking in and out . Also check your hyd. oil level and amke sure that it is up to the mark.

It probably is a torque adjustment problem.
