Wrong, do a search and you will find these countries that pay a lot, most of it is TAXES..UK is about 80% taxes.. don't believe what the oil companies say, do some searching...

MAY GOD BLESS THE USA

I dropped off some trailer tires that I wanted tubes put in large 15 inch. The tubes were $26 a piece, I would have been better off to buy tubeless tires than to spend $52 on two tubes. Of courses I didn't ask for the price of the tubes when I dropped of the tires, thinking $20 for the tubes. chris

I guess you're talking about Desoto County,MS. Memphis runs all the way to the state line now.Desoto Co. just on the other side of the state line. A lot of people have left Memphis and moved to Desoto Co. Too many people down there now. The north part of the county use to be all farm land. Now it is mostly houses.

This tube was just one and its for a 13.6X38 and the cost was $49.95. Don't know if my partner didn't try to shop around or not but I know I plan to if I need another tube

I had a new tube put on last month on the back of my 8n. It only cost $32.00. That was the tube and labor.

Yeah Old, I felt like I got off on the back tire tube. I was thinking the whole time it would be at lease $50 for the labor and the tube. I had no idea what it would cost. But last year I had a front tire go out, had to replace the tube. The tube and labor to break it down and reinstall was $19.00. The name of the place is Still Tires, in Olive Branch,MS.( North Mississppi). They look like they deal in big trucks and what.

most americans cant ride a bike to work because they are too fat and will pop the tires. Then they will need one of those expensive innertubes that will have to be imported from a country that pays its employees 47 cents an hour. A viscious cycle. and thats my $25.00's worth ;)

There was a report showing that rubber is in great demand in China, India, and the United states and that the producers couldn't keep up with demand. That and the devalued dollar make things go up at an alarming rate. Pretty soon we will need a wheelbarrow to carry our money in. We have to export more and import less.

Pretty tough to improve the trade imbalance when our workers want 25 bucks an hour to make a widget, and half the rest of the world will do it for about 47 cents.

The rest of the world does not pay $3.00 for a gallon of gas just to get to work either. They either walk or ride a bike, something that is almost impossible for the U.S. worker to do because of the greater distances involved.
