Owatonna is no longer. I blieve it was split up into 2 mergers along the way, so trace down the loader portion of the company to see if you can get parts. Sorry I don't know the actual history for you.

Austoft Inc. of America. Last address was County Rd. 45 North Box 547 Owatonna Mn. 55060. They may not exist anymore either.

I have an OMC 1000 and here is the deal: The 1000 was the first skid steer ever manufactured it is the Ford model A in car terms, it was manufactured in 1965. Back when it was manufactured the word Skid steer did not exist so it was called an All Wheel Drive Machine. The company OMC was purchased by Mustang in the 80's. Parts are still available and manufactured. You can call Mustang and they will give you a dealer in your area to purchase parts from. The Engine is a Wisconsin VH4D again parts are available. Bobcat used the same engines for many years into the 90's. I have made many engine part purchaes from online companies. I found Mid America Power Inc is the cheapest and best for the engine parts. This machine is a work horse but the hydro is very confusing. The engine is a 30 HP engine and has a 48 GPM hydraulich pump. Lift capacity is 1200lbs and it has Aux hydro for attachments. You can still get the manuals for the engine and the machine Online, I have purchased all of them. If you have any more questions let me know and if you want I have an article about the OMC 1000 about a restored one that goes to all the trade shows in the mid west. This is a classic.
