841 -172 in 4 cyl injectors

Hi new here need confirmation. Have an 841ford 172 in / 4 cyl think injectors are sticking when shut down fuel gets into oil pan when tried to look them up only shows 2000 and up . Am I guessing correctly haven't pulled cover yet to check numbers didn't want to start any leaks budget tight .and any suggestions on inexpensive injector testor would be appreciated

Not familiar with that model Ford, but does it have a separate transfer pump that the diaphragm is bad on it?

I turn fuel off every time I shut down have run equipment most of my life .am so close to 60 its not funny just haven't worked on tractors thx for recommendation

You are guessing and most likely guessing wrong.

Two common places for that motor to leak diesel into the crankcase.

1) The seal on the injector pump drive shaft.

2) The fuel return line under the valve cover.

thx which one u recommend checking first my guess would be pump have to reprime everytime I go to use . It set for few mo. Wouldn't start couldn't prime checked filter was clogged sediment bowl had lot of fines in it surprised me.

I think you are guessing here. How much fuel does it leak in what amount of time? Start thinking seal on injection pump drive shaft.
