glow plug

i cant find the glow plug on my 1981 ford tractor,its getting realy hard to crank up and i think its the glow plug

Ford tractors did not use glow plugs. They use a Thremostart(sp?) that heats the intake manifold by burning diesel in the manifold which is access from the return fuel line. Most of these systems did not work very long. Install a tank type heater in the cooling system and plug your tractor in the night before you need to us it. Buy a IT shop manual for your tractor if you want to learn more.

Ron should be on the front side of the intake manifold
