I just bought a 1944 farmall H. I am waiting on manuals so I thought I would ask here. I need to work on brakes pretty bad. Any advice?

Just going thru some old threads and I seen this one.
On our old Farmall I would leave lots of time to soak the parts with penatrant before diving in.
A torch will also help.

Being a 44' H it will be equipped with band type brakes. They are very basic and straight forward. Start by knocking off the brake covers and disassemble from there...there is not a h*lluva lot to em' really.

Thanks. I thought that was what they were, but a little reluctant to take apart until I know what I am getting into. Ryan
