I have a Bomford B457 Side Arm Mower. The Hydrolic pump (PTO driven) which runs the hydrolic motor on the head blew up last fall. The replacement pump will cost more than what I paid for the flail mower, if I can even get it. Princess Auto has a slip on PTO pump that puts out 21 GPM @ 540 RPM @ 2000 PSI. I will just need to do some extra hose work. Will this be adequate to run the head motor?

How do I find out the flow and pressure requirements for the motor running the head, ( can get the model and serial #, just misplaced it - it is an Eaton or Charline? Is there a web site to tell me this? I could go to a hydrolic shop but they will charge me even more. I might need to anyway.

Any advice appreciated, thanks Grant

Take alook at the bomford web site there is a contact us area to fill in your question, then you should be able to transpose the Princess Auto pump to your operation, seems to me they have such a pump on sale till end of the month.
regards
