1 question. I'm restoring and building a FairBanks Morris, 1 cylinder, diesel engine. Approx. height is 12 feet tall, approx. weight is 28,000 lbs. with flywheel and clutch assembly. The flywheel is 8 foot across, crank shaft is 8" by 7'6" length. What I need to know, is what engine is it. Where do I find litature on it, mainly a service manuel or something of this form. This is a engine for a person who will set it in their front yard and run it a few times ayear. Have already got most of the parts machine shop made with the exception of finding the oiler box, and ring set. Also the base of engine is 4foot square, 12 inch bore, 24 inch stroke, 5 ring piston, 5 inch wrist pin, babbit rod bearing and machine steel main bearing with shims.
Hopefully someone can tell me the size and\or model. Think it to be around 65 hp. BOB
