Kurt, re. continental engine
Continental engines still manuf.incl. L-heads for stationary use. Wis-Con Total Power Corp owns Continental now.
US Headquarters: Memphis, Tenn. Tel. 901-365-3600
Address: PO Box 181160 Memphis, TN 38181
They can steer you to a dealer.
K24G model must be an OHV type engine as it is not shown in my Continental L-head overhaul manual
Hope this is helpful to you.

there is no comment, but I search for a motor built in in an Austrian - firebrigade " PERL " from 1932, 4 zylinders, 50 PS / n = 2800, 3258 ccm,
diam: 98 mm, hub: 108 mm, condensing 1:4,8,
standing valves, 3 mainbearings
electrically equipment: Delco Remy 6 V
petrol pump: AC, carburator: Zenith,
axels: Hubbard, gearbox: Warner Zylinder-Head is welded not good and other things.
Who know this motor ? somebody says this is a continental motor
