Ive been working on the gravel for a few years now. And the last time I split the 8N we almost had a jack situation. The wife gave me the green light after we discussed the safety issue. Got to remember that one. The post are 6x6 13 feet tall ceiling. The concrete truck cleared the 12 foot door by 3 inches. Needless to say the truck lifed after the pour. We let the air out the tires a little, got her out and refilled. The post you see in the pics are 10ft apart. There will be a furure loft across the back for lumber storage, etc. Paining the old frig white with a big red cross on the front with First Aid. Never know when you will need 12oz of cold first aid. I will end up with a wall on the left side of the slab with a rollup. The barn being 40x60 and only pouring 40x30 the rest will be gravel for impliments, Hay,trailer, etc. Also separates the Hay from welding sparks in the slab area. Humm another safety issue. Got to tell the wife that one too. Got to ut the freeze proof water valve in before the next pour. Oh yea, got all the rebar for Free from the neighbor. More pics to come

Don't forget to seal the concrete. It sure makes it easier to clean up after spilling oil or trash from taking things apart. Looks good.

Lookin' good. I considered just going gravel floor in the tractor shed but I'm glad I went ahead and popped the $$ for concrete. It makes everything a lot easier when you're working out there and jacks and shop cranes actually roll easy.
