bota L3600 izz back, sumabuick will not Move. My best guess izz the clutch but it has a GST shift trans. Theirs gotta B a way to diagnose it with out take'n a leap and do a split. What i have posted so fer on the net, if enny one knows a place to post it let me know. As B-4 the local dealer has made the offer to let me have what info they have on it, They as soon run from it.

It tries to move but will not. customer called me a few days ago and said it would move but takes awhile and he thought the steering also was a little hard at that time. I went to haul it back to the shop and it will slowly move a foot or so and that's it like a worn out clutch. it does not seam to a affect the PTO it turns well with the clutch out in gear even tho the tractor still does not move. It has the GST transmission. His hired help (Hispanic no speak'a English) use it all the time and I have no symptoms on how it got this way. It has 900 hr. on the clock, used as a loader tractor exclusively and in great condition. I did split it a few years ago to repair a stuck cross shaft for the clutch in the bell housing, any help to diagnosis it would B appreciated.

already posted at TractorByNet.com
thanks fer enny help

That stuck cross shaft seems really common on those rascals. Why dont they find a way to grease the darn thing. Sounds like you got a heart burner.

Hobo,If you have seen as many clutch disc as I think you have and it looks pretty good, then it ain't the clutch. We are a Kutota dealer and I recall a L2950 GST being in our shop and a snap ring that retains a clutch pack came off and caused a similar problem. I suggest you visit your Kubota dealer and see if they don't have a service bullitin on the problem. As I remember the shop bill totaled a couple K's to replace shaft and what ever. If I can look up any info for you I could do this next week.

If you can do that I would appreciate it, its a 95 or 96 L3600GST, serial # 52479. Also now that I have it split i can turn the input shaft while I have enny gear selected in either forward or reverse. Hummm should I B able to turn the input shaft and fell no resistance ???

Well TractorSmart.com can likely get you the Kubota shop manual(s) for it. The ones for my "B" series were not expensive - $60-$80 IIRC. However, unless they have updated their technical writing staff you have to read Jinglish ;-) Call them and talk to Ronnie - I think he is still in GA although all the sales are through their PA front man. He will treat you right.
