I converted to 12 volts months ago, I have been looking for a good deal on 12 volt lights. I figured to use 6 volt instead, hooked them up in a series circuit and they work great, saved alittle money too! Richard

don't know how old the bulbs were but I smoked one after about 10 min. Lucky I had an extra on the shelf. I use the them for visability while driving on the road during the day. Richard

I did the same thing with my 6 volt lights on my 12 volt conversion on my 8N. Works good. Only thing is if one bulb burns out; both lights go out. I don't really use my tractor at night, but the original lights sure do look nice.
