Some places sell bracketry.. but many just modify generic alternator brackets from off the shelf.. like autozone for the top bracket.. then use the governor as a tie in point for a shorty bracket for front mount engines.. etc..

When I first got my 2N, it had already been "perverted" to 12V by the previous owner, although he "restored" it with a rattle can and new rubber - long story. It had a Motorola multi-wire alt and as it turns out, there wasn't enough engine rpm to excite the field. After I changed the governor(went from 1200 rpm to 1900 rpm), the Alt still wouldn't excite. I went to an AC Delco, single wire and voila (that's WAHLAH for our Okie friends), we have electrification. Alt pivots on the outboard governor/timing cover bolt and a slide bracket fashioned from 1/4x1-1/2 barstock .
