Rob 06-05-2003 15:57:45 63.245.133.226 Report to Moderator	But just on the manifold side. There is oil on top of the head between #4 sparkie and down between the manifold and block. Oil is dripping onto the top of the #3/4 intake. There is a 3/8" ring of oil around the exhaust manifold just before #4. Oil is running down the side of the block and puddling on top of the flange the oil pan bolts too. This suddenly occured. Not making any sense to me. Any ideas? [Reply]   [No Email]

Oil on the throttle rod from the dash to the gov near #4. NO oil on top of #3/4 exhaust ports but oil on top of #1/2 exhaust ports. Oily around front valve chamber cover. Oh yeah! Had that off last month, put it on hand tight and forgot to come back with the torque spec.... That fan will do strange things blowing oil around. Put 30 in/lbs on it and that should do it. You don't suppose you just might have a leak associated with the two metal lines associated with the "T" do you? I leaned over and watched it all for maybe 500' while bush hogging. Couldn't see where it was coming from. The valve chamber might be leaking but that doesn't get oil past the manifold and on top of the head! I don't think there's enough oil behind that valve chamber cover to get oil dripping (I saw a drip when I parked it!) onto the TOP of the intake! There's no oil on the bottom of the gas tank.
