Getting lots of diesel in the oil pan. I would imagine it"s the injector "O" rings going bad. Tractor has been sitting for several months without use. How hard is it for an amature to change out those "O" rings? Thanks!

Hi, What model do you have? Most generally it is
the lift pump (fuel pump)on Perkins engines. Chuck

2nd that. Lift pump (primary pump) can (A) leak fuel externally. (B) Allow air in the system, causing air lock of injector pump (C) Leak fuel internally, ending up in crankcase. Rebuild kit OR new pump is a quick cure.

Hi, agree with everyone else.
95% probability that the lift pump diaphragm is perished or split.
4% for the seal in the front of the main pump leaking.
1% for the thermostart leaking.
