Hello out there.
This day I did the winterservice on my MF 135. I had the wheels lifted to adjust the brakes, and I remembered that my diff. lock was out of order. I feel very sligthly that it is trying to engage, but it won`t lock. I suggest that there are burrs on the claws so that it won`t go the whole way. Years ago I was snowplowing and I mean to remember that I engaged it with clutch down but maybe before the spinning came to a halt. Any suggestion to what might remedy this will be welcome.

Cheers and a Happy Christmas
Frema DK.

Check that the pinch bolt where the pedal connects to the differential lock shaft is tight. Mine got loose while the differential was locked and I couldn't get it out. Until I tightened that pinch bolt. Its worked fine ever since.

It has to be in motion to go in and the two sides have to be moving at different speeds to let it go in when the teeth and notches pass. I don't think you have burred it so bad it won't lock, yet.
