I Had the same problem with my 30 with a F162 engine a few monhs ago. I had a casting broken internally and need a complete pump. I finally; thanks to the guys on this site, found one from Montes Equipment Co Inc in Chicago. Phoned them gave them the casting # and had a new pump two days later. If a rebuilding will not work for you you might try them. Nice people to deal with.

It should have the casting number F400K420. I may have the pump in stock I will check tomorrow. I know that I have a rebuild kit on hand. Email me for more info if interested.

I will need the casting number. The engine is a Continetal F-400 series. The trouble is there were probably 10 different water pumps. For an industrial engine such as that you are better off money wise with a rebuild kit. More questions? J.
