Currently in the middle of rebuilding a perkins ad3.152 diesel. Got a brand new cam shaft due to the fuel lobe being scored, and low and behold the new one doesn't have the pressed in fitting on the end for the tachometer drive cable. Believe me, after the amount of work that i have put into this engine so far, not to mention what is left, i will not go without a tach. My local mf dealer didn't seem to be able to help me, in fact they would sell me another cam for $203 and he wouldn't guarantee that it had the tach fitting.

Does anyone know of a place that i could get a hold of this fitting? Any particularly savvy dealers around that would have it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

john

I would think they could FAX & find the answer from the supplier/ventor. CENTAUR
