What is the diff. between MF 135 with square fenders and head lights vs rounded fenders and lights in the grill. Both 3 cyl. Perkins diesel. Also dif between 6sd. and 8sd. I am about to purchase 135 with round fenders, only 1300 hrs. orig. Thank You.

A 135 with a Perky and low hours? Wow, a fella couldn't be more tickled in a feather factory. This one oughta command a premium price, around $7000-8500?.

Flat-top fenders were an option on 135's. If one was built WITHOUT the flattops (and their light mounting location), headlights went on the sides of the hood on U.S. models, and on/in the grill on non-U.S. marketed models. Clamshell fenders were standard equipment. Majority of U.S. market 135's were clamshell style fender equipped. 6 speed was standard. Options were 6 speed w/multipower OR 8 speed. Some 6 speed models weren't even 2 stage clutch (live power). 8 speed just gives you more choices of ground speeds @ a given engine RPM.
