The generator on my 22 does not seem to be working. I replaced the cutout with no improvement. Do you need to polarize the generator, such as on my Farmall? Also, the hydraulic oil is in sad shape. I know it has 10w in it. I have alot of IH hydraulic oil. Would it be O.K. to use this or not? It's IH Hy-Tran. My manual does not cover any of the hydraulic system, so I was wondering what oil to use and how much it holds. Thank you for any help!

Would Hy-Tran be O.K. for the tranny and rear end? My tractor is used 90% of the time in the winter, moving snow. Mostly in temps below 40 degrees F. The other 10% of the time would be in the summer, but just light work. Thank you!
