Gas or LP Waukesha engines were available through the entire production of the 1100. If you can find an early series 354 or 354 turbo with the engine adapter plate(plenty out there) you should have no trouble swapping out that old gasser. I got complete engine off EBay and the adapter plate from a scrap yard. Total cost of parts and engine was $2500. Took me about 8 man hours to do a complete swap out of a gas 1100, that included removing/reinstalling a loader and frame.

The engine had been run out of oil and seized up. Wasn't much good left on it. Block and head went with the scrapper and I'll have to see if I have the rest.
