Left brake on mf165 does not work do you have to take wheel and axle tube off to replace brake dics

Cheer up, it's not as hard as it looks, provided you have an engine hoist... I did mine without one and do not recommend it. Find yourself somewhere warm to work... Aaron

If your 165 is anything like my model 65 ( I think they are pretty similar) it should look somewhat like this. You do remove the axle trumpet to change the disks on the 65.

HELLO TO ALL,
i am working on my friends tractor,(165)
1973 model.
presently trying to get the power steering
to work. appears the brakes will need work
also. the picture that was shown, is the disc
dry, or does it run in oil? we have manual,
but it is very vague.
