MF 135 Reconditioning underway.
Tractor sat out for 'a long time'.
No power steering so it steers hard, but should drag link ends be replaced? How do you determine?

Thanks...

If they are sloppy so they rattle or they are rusted so they don't move freely, replace them. Replacements from NAPA will have grease fittings to make them last longer.

You suggest that replacements are available from NAPA.... do you use an online NAPA? When I try online, there seems to be no selection for tractors.....or do you use a local parts dealer?I've been to a NAPA parts store locally and they sometimes have stuff for the tractor and sometimes don't, but always seem like the default answer is "I don't think so" when asked about a part.

Take the old parts. Let them measure the bolts and the threads and find a match in their picture book. Here in farm country they do have listings for tractors. Sometimes those listings aren't sure which parts fit so taking the old parts is the best way. Perhaps they don't have the farm catalogs in your area or the sales help is too lazy to look outside the import cars book.
