A worker for me put approx. 3 gallons of diesel fuel in the gas tank of my 135. The tractor runs but not very good. I have drained out the remaning gasoline and I have refilled the tank with fresh gas. I have not tried running the engine again. Does anyone have any experience with this as to what problems I may expect. Do I need to add some gasoline treatment?

If you have fresh gas in the tank, just remove the drain plug on the carb and flush it through. It might take a couple tankfuls to completely turn over, but it will be fine.

I think your worker just added 3 gallons of "gasoline treatment" for you! I wouldn't add any more! :)

It won't hurt, but it'll run rough and stink heartily until the diesel fuel is gone

My old lady once filled my half empty gas pickup truck with kerosene. I just ran a couple tanks of gas threw it, but man did it run crappy for a while. I think you should be fine with fresh gas and prob. gas treatment wouldnt hurt.

I put 19 gallons of diesel in my 30 gallon tank on my work truck, (350 GMC gas engine.) Drained out 15 gallons. Refilled with regular gas. Ran real ruff for about 150 miles or so.After about 350 miles about 1 1/2 quarts went past the pistons and over filled the crankcase. Changed the oil, very thin and smelled like diesel. Now the truck was starting to run good. About 300 more miles I changed to oil again, was about 1/2 quart over filled. Runs better than when purchased at 90,000 miles. Now has 250,000 miles on it. The next oil change the oil was much cleaner than normal. Made mine run better, could help yours too.
