I pulled a 101jr almost every week during last summer and won or placed in the top three every pull I entered. As a prior post noted the engine could be a 124, 140 or a 162. Any one of those motors will have sufficient power for an antique puller operating in a stock class, as you are normally limited to first gear. More important than the engine size is the traction. This is determined by the hitch point, tires, and weight. I pull #3500 and #4000 stock class with a 16" drawbar and 10X28 Firestone 151's. Provided the motor is in good shape you should do well.

Sorry about that it has a 6 banger, not 4!
It would help if I could count, any help on the 6 banger would be helpful.

The 101 you have with the four cylinder engine is a 101 junior. The four cylinder engine was used from 1939 to 1946.All that was done to them was the bore was increased to make it produce more power.I have used a 102 junior with the 162 in it and they pull very well for there size. The 102 junior is the export version of the 101 junior from the US.

I have a MF 210-4. How's come there is no identification for this tractor on your information list? Do you know how I can find parts for this machine?

There were 3 engine sizes in those blocks, a 124, 140, and 162 cubic inch version. Same engines just bigger pistons and more power. If yours is a 101 Junior it probably has one of the two smaller sizes I would guess.

Super 101 are supposed to have Chrysler 6 cylinders, I would think a 4 cylinder in that tractor would be underpowered.. Put a Chevy 350 in it, that should do it.
