just picked up a MH motor out of a power unit - its a Continental mha277b - manifold says Massey Harris and its factory LP. Motor is free but has a bad freeze plug - what should I worry about in trying to get it running. Also possibly looking to convert to gas but that means a new manifold and carb. I have an extra E201 carb and manifold from a MH33 - question is whether they will work? Alternately if I can get it running as LP, is it worth more or less than a similar gas motor?

the 33 man. will not fit you can get a new one from rusty acre 1-507-433-0073 or better yet leave it LP

The value on LP verses gas, depends on how much of
a complete MH engine assembly you have to sell.
Investing in another manifold, Zenith carburetor,
will be significant outlay. Who knows how well
the engine ran. If your plan is to sell it, post an ad, see what the response is. The buyers can decide what fuel choice, you're making busy work
for yourself.
