How do they extend? I can't get close enough due to larger tires than my 3010.(all my equipment was set up for a 3010. I need to be a little further away, thus need to extend the arms a couple inches...

Pull up on the latch, about mid arm on top. Pull out on the end of the arm. If its not all rusted fast. But that's just for convenience in hitching, they should be pushed all the way in for working.

Big tires can be a pain. An extension would be with a quick hitch.

You're a genious....(and I'm not too bright), I do have a quick hitch in the barn...never used it, as most things I use are off the drawbar....

That's the curse of the quick hitch, moving the load further back and so making the front end lighter. In your case its a blessing to clear larger tires.
