You can't go by the holes in the front axle. The axles are not all made the same. There were either two or three different row crop front axles used by Deere.Deere also used what they called, short, regular and long rear axles. My 4020 with 18.4-34 just will go in to 30" row spacing if the fenders are moved all the way in and the wheel is set on the outside rib of the rim. Measure 30" from the centerline to both front and rear tires

There is a slot in the lower dash panel just made to hook your tape into to measure rear tire widths. My 4020 has ROPS and the closest I can get the tires with an inch fender brace clearance is 32" each side of center. 30 would be nicer, so I now have 12.4-42 and they still are about 32" each side of center but the hubs are to the slope of the shaft diameter.

Without ROPS you ought to be able to get to 30" each side, 60" center to center on both front and rear. You may have to move the fenders further in.

I have 11.00-16 on my fronts and they don't quite knock down corn that the narrow rears will.

On my JD B with 200 series two row cultivator set up for 38 inch rows, I measured 38" from the center of the rear tire to the center of the tractor. Your setup would be 30" from center of tire to center of tractor, or 60" from center of one tire to the other. Since you have wide front, your front wheels will have to be set 30" from center of tire to center of tractor also. Don't know if you have to do something different for a four or six row cultivator. I'm sure others here will speak up. The number of holes exposed on the tube on the front end will depend on how wide/narrow you need your front tires to be to clear the rows.

Let’s say you have a four row planter set at 30” rows the wheels travel in the middle of row one and two on one side of the tractor and rows three and four on the other. The total distance, for reference, between row one and row four is 90”. You need to set the center of the tire at 30” from the centerline of the tractor or a total of 60” from center of tire to center of tire.
