I don't have my owner's manual handy. It shows several sizes were options. My parts book doesn't give offsets except for 20" rims on a high clearance tractor but it shows several of those options. JD1299 is for 6x16" rollomatic and others. JD1091 is for 7.50x15" HD rollomatic and others. JD3039 is for 7.50x16" HD rollomatic and others. Sub for JD1293. Might be that the offset is small, though if the owner's manual shows how much change there is by turning the rims around, half that is about the offset give or take a metal thickness which with the forming of the tapered holes can amount to a quarter inch. The same hubs and rims are shown for rollomatic and adjustable wide front. The best I recall, the offset on the original rims for my 4020 was small, maybe a quarter inch. I went to 8" wide rims with 11L16 tires that I had on my MF-135 with loader, but now I have 11.00-16 on my 4020 wide front. They probably would not fit the rollomatic. I think I had to find 2-1/4" offset to keep the tires the same distance from the spindles. I don't have the JD originals, I let them go on a hay rack that I sold a couple years ago. I thought they were too small and still do. A google search on JD1299 says it has a 1.125" offset. All the on line vendors only claim their wheels fit, they don't list the offset. So I climbed to the attic and grabbed my early (SN184,000) 4020 owner's manual. It illustrates changing the spacing on the narrow front but gives no numbers. On the wide front it shows with wheels in the inner position on the 6.00-16 the wheels are 48-1/2" c-c and outer they are 58-1/4". So a change of practically 10", 5" per side, allowing for wheel center thickness I'd compute 2.125" offset. For 7.50-15 and -18 it shows narrow is 50-3/4" and wide is 55-7/8" a change of 5", 2.5" per side or I'd say practically a 1.125" offset. So it depends on which wheel and tire you pick from the avaiable options. Gerald J.
