I have a 67" 4020. Some how fuel is getting in the engine oil. The oil should be black in color and at the full mark. Mine is real thin and a light color and way over full. When I drained the oil it almost looked like keroseen. Any idea on how to fix this problem? Thanks.

Like Gerald said, replace the transfer pump first. It's about $40 and only takes a few minutes to swap. Keep an eye on it, and if it continues to get fuel in the oil, you'll need to replace the seals on the injection pump driveshaft. That isn't a difficult job if you're experienced in removing and reinstalling injection pumps, but it would be a good time to send the pump to the pump shop for a rebuild if it's got some hours on it.

Fuel lift pump. Right front side of the engine.

In a diesel there can be shaft seal leaks at the injection pump. Next failure of the injection pump will be the plastic governor ring so it will need a rebuild.

In a gas engine it can be running way too rich from a worn out float needle and seat, a leaky float, or a choke stuck near closed, or debris (bird's or wasp or mud dauber's next) in the intake pipe. It should be blowing black smoke this way.
