Have A 4020 , What does the pto rod hook to ?? I can move the handle back and forward . doesn't seem to be hook to anything , I have a shop manual & a parts book, I need more help .. It also has a knock by your feet at the top , if the pto
don't move there is no knock and when you back up is this something I should take to the dealer ? or
can I or we can fix . Like to have help Thank You Rod

It has a Power Shift Transmission 4020 T84074 I think the year is 1964 or 65 ( Its Gas too) The manual don't go in to much in detail & need a
little more If you Guys could help.... Thank You Rodd

sounds like the bearings are shot on the PTO gears-- you have to split the tractor at the clutch housing and remove the clutch pack to get at 2 bolts that hold the next split together--then split it again under the floor board lots of lines -cables -shift valve etc to remove---I done one last year for a friend --even with good used parts 2500$ dealer estimated 4000
