Went to look at a bush hog?? and, the name on it was AGRI-Five which they claimed just meant it was a 5 footer and it was made in Alabama but could not tell me the exact name of the company? Am wondering if anyone knows who makes it and if it's any good and, if there is any place on the Web I can check on the Company and read about their Implements
Thanks for any help.

you can buy a substitute blade at John Deere. it is wider than original but the shape is right on, have used it for 5 years and no problems

I believe Darrel Hart of Hart enterprises and Bay impleent manufactures a several for them. I know He sells them and carries parts. He also makes a line of equipment. We have and agri five for our 3000 yanmar. Is a good machine

Jim - I have a a 6' "bushhog" that is labeled "Agri-72"
which is a 6' brush mower. It is made by BEE-Line products in TX & LA. It is completely red with white label (Agri-72 in cursive writing) I can provide specifics when I get home as I am currently in MI on business.

I am very happy with the machine and it has done everything I needed. It came with an extra set of blades, has a floating toplink to prevent binding and I like it.
HTH,
Shep

Shep, I'd appreciate any info you have on the company, haven't been able to find anything on the Web on the Company and am wondering about being able to buy blades or other parts, where? I know the one I saw was brand new because I saw the receipt dated in Oct of 2000 from somewhere in S.C. I'd like an address ,Phone # or something to be able to contact them.

Jim -
There is a company called Agri-Fab, but they are not located in Alabama. The Bush Hog Corporation is located in Alabama and it may be that this is a cut rate product of theirs produced for a private label. Take a look at Bush Hog's home page link and see if you see anything familiar.
