I have a 1938 WC with a belly mounted sickle bar mower. I need a sickle for it but no one locally can help me without a model #. It has no wheels.
It has a large arm with a hand lever at the end and a foot pad. Also, it has a cam setup to raise and lower the thing. The sickle I need has a ball
end which goes between a clamp on the pto arm.
I think they poured oil on it for lubrication.
Anyone know what model this might be?

Finally got around to researching this. The postwar side mount for the WC was the #2. Like Aaron already said, the original WC mower didn't have a number. I don't have a parts book to look at, but looking at pictures of the WC mower and the #2, plus the rear semi-mount #3, they may have all used the same type of bar. AC mowers after 1956 (#7, 80 and 82 series) used the twin flywheel drive, so their bars may be different.

I think they just called it the WC/RC mower. Wouldn't you know it, the parts book I have for it is at home.
