I have a chance to buy one but he says the hydro is out. How much would parts cost and where could I get them? Is it hard to work on? I am handy and love to work on things. Thank You,
Alan

Alan, I bought a 1650 last spring with the hydro not working.I got it home and played with it and finaly drained all of the hydraulic fluid out,it was like cottage cheese. I refilled the system with diesel fuel and an automobile oil filter and ran it up. The system started building pressure and soon I was driving it around the yard.I drained it after about 3 minutes. I put in the proper fluid and filter and now the tractor is a mean machine! I may have been just lucky, but thats my story and I'm sticking to it..... good luck. David in OKC

Being a cub dealer I can tell you that parts are not avail. for this unit. Did you try the valves on the top of the unit? 1 is for rev. other is fwd. If you have fwd but no rev. try to swap valves and see if makes a diff. We have a few used hydro units in the yard. E-MAIL me if you are interested.

I have a Cub Cadet 1650 and I need to purchase
one of the hydralic valves that controls the
forward and reverse motion.
