my 149 was setting for a time and the shift lever was froze, i finally freed it up and a day later i put it in to forward or reverse and it will not move. what can i do?

Try removing the cover in front of the seat and see if the linkage is actually moving when you move the lever. If it is, check to see if the two little buttons on top of the hydro unit are free and are not stuck down.

i found the problem. the pin was sheared at the drive line connecting to the engine. then i decided to unfreeze the pins that release the tractor to push it and they got stuck in the down position. 3 hours later i was able to get to the pins with a rachet. labor of love.
