after running my CC 2130 for a short while the engine will just shut off. It has oil and runs fine when its running. If I leave it in the yard for a couple of hours itll start right up and run fine again till it goes through the cycle again. Is there some sensor or something thats opening?

Not a heckuva lot of info there to go on, but the carb does have a fuel shutoff solenoid that does not stay open unless it has a continuous source of electricity. Could be that.

On the spark end of things, could be a short in the electronic ignition that only opens when it gets warm.

Next time it happens, pull a plug out right away and lay it on the engine connected to yer wire, crank it over and see if you have a strong blue spark. If not, it's in yer ignition.
