I am way out of the loop as it has been 15-20 years since I have been into the Super Garden tractor scene.

I was 14 or so when the IH 982 came out and about 16 when the 1912 and 1914 were presented.

What tractors model numbers were offered since then and are implements still available new from Cub Cadet for these.

I am looking of a tractor with the rear 3 point and pto, front hydraulics and the larger tires.

I have been surfing the net but have been lucky to find any information as to what happed or what the model numbers were since the 1912 and 1914. I think there were also 984 and 986 models in 1980 and 1981 but have not been able to find information about them.

Thanks for any help.

1782 , 1872 , 2082 , 2182 and 2086 are 5 that I am aware of . Cub Cadet went to the plastic hoods with the sloped nose about 1990. The 1872 is an 18 hp air cooled Kohler it also was one of the last metal hooded versions. The 2082 is a 20 hp air cooled Kohler. The 1782 is a 17 hp Kubota liquid cooled diesel. The 2182 is a 21 hp Kubota liquid cooled gas engine and the 2086 is a 20 hp liquid cooled Kawasaki.

Link

Go to this site and click on their CCC/MTD cub Cadet site. This site (above) is one of the best whereas they have different areas for the different Cub Cadets (IH... CCC/MTD built tractors. Visit the other sites within this initial site and you will gain much info and knowledge about Cub Cadets.

Been there done that.

That site and many other's like it dont deal with anything newer than the 1981 IH cub cadets (982).

I've pretty much searched the web and even tried the basic "super garden tractor" search and wound up here.

Model numbers I am aware of and have no understanding of what they mean.

982, 984, 986
1912, 1914

What are the additional numbers and meanings?

Another question somewhat related to the first post:
When did the sealed beam early style tractors change from the "IH look" to the new "slope nose" look?

IH sold cub cadet to MTD in 1981 probably then.
