I have just set up a mower deck on my 125 for the first time. Problem is, whenever I engage the pto It seems as though the pto has a difficult time turning the mower deck pulleys. Although they will turn the pto does not turn it fast enough to even mow. The belt is tight, the pulleys and belts all seem to line up properly. It just seems asthough there is not enough power to turn the mower. Before I installed the mower deck the belt turned the pulleys freely . Any advice would greatly appreciated.... Thanks John in New Mexico

John, If the engine itself seems to have enough power then it sounds like the PTO needs to be rebuilt. The kit goes for about $32. It has detailed instructions to guide you. Also, make sure when the PTO is engaged (in the on position) you should have .010 to .015 clearance between the little nylon wear button and the center button of the PTO.
